A Message from Spirit of the Wind
Spirit of the Wind's Mission is to preserve and promote Native American Culture, Values, and Traditions through strong Community support and our growing role in the Community over the last forty years.
We are here to serve our Community, and it is with the much appreciated help from our Community that we are able to organize, coordinate, and facilitate Native American and Indigenous Educational Activities and Purification Ceremonies with the intention of supporting and guiding participants in the restoration and strengthening of their wellness.

We are going through some core changes in our administration, and due to unforeseen circumstances, two of our activities will not happen this year: the Vision Quest and the Traditional Family Dance (we don’t use the word Sund@nce due to copyright restrictions).
Walking Eagle (Jack Thom Sr.) and Gentle Springs (Barbara Humiston) are in good health and spirits, and we all look forward to serving our Community through our year-round activities that include:
• Monthly Public Sweat Lodges, where everybody is invited and welcome to participate;
• Private Sweat Lodges for groups;
• Native American Drum Circles;
• Arts & Crafts events and workshops;
• Thanksgiving Dinner in November;
• Traditional Spirit of the Wind Christmas Party in December.
Through our activities, we keep the Native American Culture alive.
One of our main goals for 2025 is to include the children in our events, which will be named "Spirit of the Wind for Kids", where they will learn more about our Culture and leave a positive legacy for future generations.
We thank you for your always-present support and wish you a joyful and prosperous New Year with the blessings of the Creator.
Aho! 🪶
